How it works
Approximately 50 cents of every dollar donated to the RDSO’s endowment fund – whether cash, bequests, stocks, or property – is eligible for matching through the Canada Cultural Investment Fund’s Endowment Incentives Component, increasing the impact of your donation and further securing the RDSO’s future.

The RDSO’s endowment fund serves as a financial backbone for the RDSO: the income generated from such endowments is designed to provide a steady, reliable source of funding that will sustain the orchestra through economic fluctuations and unforeseen challenges. This long-term financial stability enables us to plan for future growth, expand the orchestra’s size and repertoire, and invest in the development of new talent, ensuring that the orchestra is a vibrant part of Red Deer’s cultural landscape for years to come.
